    Doctor Herrmann is the Medical Director of Youth Services at the Mental Health Center of Dane County, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin, Director of Research, Managing Partner and Consultant at Regent Mental Health Group. He has authored and co authored papers on Bipolar Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder. He sits on the board of Directors for NAMI Wisconsin and The Children and Adolescent Subcommittee of the Governor’s Committee on Mental Health.

    Internship, Residency in General Psychiatry and Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry were completed at the University of Iowa. He is Board Certified.

    Dr. Herrmann sees patients with Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Schizophrenia, Attention Deficit Disorders, Tourrettes syndrome, anxiety Disorders including Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and Developmental Disorders (autism and Asperger’s syndrome).

    He has been at regent mental Health Group for over a decade. Dr Herrmann’s goal is to aggressively treat serious mental illness so as to avoid hospitalization, however, when needed he attends at Meriter Hospital in Madison Wisconsin and coordinated with other hospitals including Mendota mental Health Institute, Winnebago Mental Health Institute, Roger’s Memorial Hospital and others.
